Brockway Man Injured In Union Township Crash

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.UNION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) -DuBois-based State Police report one person was injured in a one-vehicle crash in Union Township, Clearfield County.

Police report the crash occured at around 5:08 p.m. August 5 along Luthersburg Rockton Road (State Route 322) at the intersection with DuBois Rockton Road.

An unidentified vehicle was traveling south along DuBois Rockton Road in the right southbound lane.

At the same time, a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt operated by Adam B. Snyder, 25, of Brockway allegedly failed to yield the right-of-way while attempting to make a left turn to travel eastbound on Luthersburg Rockton Road, pulling in front of a westbound vehicle.

Snyder’s vehicle accelerated to avoid a “T-Bone” crash and traveled south crossing Luthersburg Rockton Road, impacting a utility pole, a “No parking” sign, and a large pine tree, coming to rest facing south.

Snyder was wearing a seatbelt and suffered an injury of unknown severity. He was cited for a traffic violation.

Brady Township Ambulance 30 and Union Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Police did not release any information on the drivers of the other vehicle.
