According to police, 21-year-old Dylan S. Daubenspeck, of Brockway; 39-year-old Carrie A. Sharp, of Erie; and 61-year-old Thomas C. Saline, of Ridgway, were involved in the collision.

Police say this crash occurred as a 2009 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Daubenspeck, was traveling in the northbound lane of Route 219 and – for unknown reasons – traveled into the southbound lane of travel.

After striking the Jeep, the Impala spun 180 degrees counterclockwise while traveling northbound approximately 60 feet. The vehicle then struck a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Saline.

The Impala came to rest facing south against the Silverado.

The Jeep traveled off the right side of the roadway and down an embankment coming to a rest facing north.

Daubenspeck suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to DRMC – Penn Highlands DuBois. He was not using a seat belt.

A passenger in his vehicle 20-year-old Dylan J. Nelson, of Brockway, was not injured. He was using a seat belt.

Mr. Saline was using a seat belt and was not injured.

His passenger 62-year-old Susan Saline, of Ridgway, suffered suspected minor injuries.
