Brockway Woman Escapes Injury in Car vs. Deer Crash

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say a one-vehicle accident involving a deer occurred December 2 at 12:30 a.m. on State Route 219 in Washington Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, the crash occurred as Tiffany A. Holt, 20, of Brockway, was traveling north on SR – 219.

A deer allegedly jumped onto the roadway in front of Holt’s 1997 Dodge Neon.

Holt stuck the deer head-on with her vehicle.

After being struck, the deer traveled onto the hood of the vehicle and smashed the windshield.

Holt drove off the east side of the roadway before coming to a final rest.

Holt was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash and was uninjured.
