The event is from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and will feature Executive Director Ken Burkett as the guest speaker.

All chamber members and the public are welcome.

The cost is $12.00 for members and $15.00 for non-members.

Burkett will be speaking on the life of Douglas Stahlman, present the Scripture Rocks mapping project, and the expanded plans for the proposed park.

Scripture Rocks, which is approximately 4 acres of park that encompasses 68 rocks, holds inscriptions and dedications created between 1911 and 1913 by Stahlman.

The Jefferson County History Center is seeking $50,000.00 to build the park and a parking area along Route 28.

Special donations are being accepted for memorial benches, a pavilion, and picnic tables.

Volunteer crews are working at the site, weather permitting.

Visitation is discouraged at this time.

The Heritage House is located at 4 Sylvania Street, Brookville, Pa.
