Brookville Area Students Carry on Halloween Tradition

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – In coordination with the Brookville Chamber of Commerce, students at Brookville Area High School carried on a tradition that residents and visitors have enjoyed for decades.

On Tuesday, students braved cold temperatures to spend the day painting festive Halloween designs on the windows of businesses and organizations along and near Main Street. The Courthouse Grille restaurant offered free hot chocolate to help warm up the young artists.

Not only do students enjoy spending the day decorating their town, but they are also taking part in a competition to see which windows catch the eye of judges and voters.

The window displays will be up until Halloween. The public is encouraged to tour Main Street to get a closer look.
