Brookville Boy Seriously Injured in Route 322 Crash

state_policeCLARION TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville boy was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident on Route 322 in Clarion Township Friday night.

Clarion-based State Police say the accident happened around 6:38 p.m. on Route 322, approximately 197 feet west of Washington Street.

According to police, a 1985 Buick Rivera operated by Daniel J. Haeberle, 19, of New Castle, crossed into oncoming traffic and struck a 2002 Subaru Forester driven by Jamie E. Bosley, 24, of Brookville, causing major damage to both vehicles.

Both drivers and a female passenger in Bosley’s vehicle, Miranda Bosley, 26, of Brookville, escaped injuries.

All three were wearing safety belts.

A juvenile male passenger suffered major injuries in the crash. According to police, he was transported by Clarion Hospital Ambulance to Clarion Hospital.

It’s unclear if he was transported to another medical facility for further treatment.

There is no word on his current condition.

Police say a child safety seat was in use.

Authorities did not release the age of the child.

Haeberle was cited in the crash; however, police did not specify the nature of the citation.
