‘Community Days’ Underway in Brookville

2fccefb14ed1df8fbd2ad302ecea0e3dBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Volunteer Fire Company will host its 6th annual “Community Days” festival starting Wednesday, August 20, and will run through Saturday, August 23.

The event will feature live performances from nationally acclaimed artists and activities for the whole family.

The festivities include: a live DJ performance; a “Moogician,” a petting zoo; “Touch the Truck,” where kids are invited to see and touch the fire trucks; a “Dash to be a Hero” obstacle course; and more.

Live performances include Johnny Angel and the Halos on Friday, August 22, and the performance by headliner, Diamond Rio, on Saturday, August 23. header4

All of the events will be held at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds to accommodate the needs of the attractions.

Tickets and information are available on the Brookville VFC website, www.bvfc2.net .

Tickets for Diamond Rio are $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the gate.

Brookville VFC began “Community Days” in 2009 to celebrate 100 years of service to Brookville. The fire company has continued the event over the past five years to give back to the community that supports them.
