Brookville Hosts Food Drive For Willow Run Animal Sanctuary

11262304_914151035295468_1749655268309367988_nBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Municipal Authority is hosting a food drive for the Willow Run Animal Sanctuary in Coolspring through Friday, December 16.

The drop off location is in the lobby outside the Water Office in the Borough Building.

People can donate dry cat food, dry dog food, dry dog treats, paper towels, laundry detergent, and cleaning supplies.

Willow Run Sanctuary & Adoptions, Inc. has become known as the hub for humane services in Jefferson County.

Willow Run is the only animal-related organization in the county that sponsors humane officer services, utilizing Pa. humane law to the fullest capacity to hold animal abusers accountable for cruel acts against animals.

It  is a 100 percent volunteer based not-for-profit animal welfare/animal rights organization, including the voluntary humane officer.

WRSA is highly dependent and relies upon the support of the human population.  WRSA receives no state or federal funding to operate.

Willow Run operates as a non-profit organization.
