Brookville Man Arrested for Suspicion of DUI in Limestone Township

Police car lightsLIMESTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say a 49-year-old Brookville man was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol on Interstate 80, eastbound, mile marker 69.2, in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a 49-year-old Brookville man was stopped for a speeding violation on Interstate 80.

He was then taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, police say.

The incident occurred around 1:47 p.m. on June 11, 2015.

DUI charges are pending toxicology results, according to police.

The suspect will also be charged with the following summary traffic violations:

  • Maximum Speed Limits
  • Driving While Operating Privilege Is Suspended or Revoked (DUI related)
  • Driving Without a License
  • Restraints Systems, two counts

Police say the victims involved are a 4-year-old male; a 7-year-old male; and society.

The name of the suspect was not released.
