Brookville Man Charged with Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Mischief

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police say around 12:20 a.m. on February 14, an incident of disorderly conduct occurred at the Courthouse Pub and Grill in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, they were dispatched to the Courthouse Pub and Grill on a report of a disorderly customer refusing to pay his bill.

Upon arrival, police met with the owner of the pub, and it was discovered that 21-year-old Cody William Walter of Brookville was allegedly causing a disturbance and his credit card would not work to pay his bill.

After talking with Walter, a family friend was contacted and the bill was paid, according to police.

Police say as Walter was leaving the Courthouse Pub and Grill, he became aggressive and struck a wall in the establishment, causing damage.

Walter was issued citations for disorderly conduct and criminal mischief for his actions during the incident.
