Brookville Man Charged with DUI

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 12:50 a.m. on February 23, a DUI occurred on Allegheny Blvd., in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say 43-year-old Randy Wade Westfall of Brookville was stopped for a traffic violation.

Through the course of the traffic stop, the driver had an odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath, according to police.

Westfall failed standardized filed sobriety tests and was taken to the Brookville Hospital for a blood sample, police.

He refused the test and his driving privileges will be suspended for a period of one year.

He is also being charged with DUI.
