Brookville Man Charged with Trespassing

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, an incident of trespassing occurred around 8:15 p.m. on June 27 on Water Plant Road and Walter Dick Park Areas, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say Brookville Fire Company placed a “Fire Line Do Not Cross” ribbon across Water Plant Road and used a Brookville Borough “road closed” barricade to block access to the park. At the park, a second ribbon was across the road leading to the parking lot area.

It is alleged that 71-year-old Ronald A. Battaglia, of Brookville, parked his vehicle at the turn around and then crossed the first ribbon and barricade and then crossed the second ribbon at the entrance to the parking lot, according to police.

Brookville Police issued a non traffic citation to Battaglia charging him with trespassing.
