JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 2:30 a.m. on December 30, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 2023, Knox Dale Road, in McCalmont, Jefferson County.
According to police, 51-year-old William R. Wright of Brookville was traveling north on Knox Dale Road and was negotiating a right curve in the roadway in a 2001 Suzuki XL7.
Wright continued straight and traveled off the west edge of the roadway for 90 feet along the west berm before impacting a tree with the front of the vehicle.
Wright was using a seat belt and was not injured.
His vehicle was hauled from the scene by Rebuck’s Southside Towing.
He was charged with a traffic violation.
