WARSAW TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville man is facing DUI and child endangerment charges stemming from an ATV crash that occurred in Warsaw Township.
According to court documents, 43-year-old Christian James Long, of Brookville, faces a preliminary hearing at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8, in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M. Bazylak.
The following charges have been filed against Long:

He remains in the Jefferson County Jail on $30,000.00 monetary bail.
Case details:
Court documents indicate that the DuBois-based State Police filed criminal charges against Christian James Long on November 5.
According to a criminal complaint, around 1:01 a.m. on September 19, Trooper Perry, of the DuBois-based State Police, was dispatched to an ATV crash in the area of Hazen Richardsville Road near Humpback Road in Warsaw Township, Jefferson County.
When Trooper Perry arrived at the staging medical area where the driver and passenger were being transported, neither of them were able to speak with him, according to the complaint.
The complaint states that while gathering information, Trooper Perry noticed an odor of an alcohol coming from the driver, who was later identified as Christian James Long.
Trooper Perry then proceeded to the scene of the crash where he spoke to others involved.
According to the complaint, Trooper Perry was informed that Long and the others involved were on their way home from a local club and had been consuming alcohol.
Trooper Perry then obtained a search warrant for a blood test on Long.
According to the complaint, Long’s BAC result was 0.273%.
The complaint notes that Long operated the ATV while under the influence of alcohol and transported a two-year-old child without providing any safety devices.
Based on the investigation, Long was arraigned at 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, in Judge Bazylak’s office.
