BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, a domestic assault occurred around 8:10 p.m. on January 21, on Geist Way, in Brookville, Jefferson County.
Police say following the completion of the investigation, charges were filed against 48-year-old Herald W. Simpson, of Brookville, relating to an alleged domestic dispute at a residence on Geist Way involving his spouse.
He was charged with the following offenses:
– Simple Assault, Misdemeanor 2
– Harassment – Subject Other to Physical Contact, Summary
– Disorderly Conduct Engage In Fighting, Misdemeanor 3
Unsecured bail was set at $20,000.00 during the preliminary arraignment on January 22.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on February 4 in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M Bazylak.
