KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Over 700 counts of indecent assault and related charges have been filed against a Brookville man who is accused of sexually abusing a minor.
Court documents indicate 22-year-old Jacob Tyler George was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Gregory M Bazylak at 11:57 a.m. on December 16, on the following charges:
– Aggravated Indecent Assault Without Consent, Felony 2 (108 counts)
– Aggravated Indecent Assault – Complainant is Unconscious or Unaware, Felony 2 (108 counts)
– Aggravated Indecent Assault – Complainant Less Than 16, Felony 2 (108 counts)
– Corruption of Minors – Defendant Age 18 or Above, Felony 3 (108 counts)
– Indecent Assault Person Unconscious, Misdemeanor 1 (108 counts)
– Indecent Assault-Without Consent of Other, Misdemeanor 2 (108 counts)
– Indecent Assault Person Less Than 16 Years Age, Misdemeanor 2 (108 counts)
Unable to post $60,000.00 (10%) monetary bail, he was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
The charges stem from a report of sexual abuse of a minor.
According to a criminal complaint, on May 21, a known juvenile victim underwent a forensic interview at Jefferson County Child Advocacy Center.
The victim disclosed that she was sexually abused by Jacob Tyler George over a period from 2017 through 2018, from when the victim was approximately 13 years old until she was 15.
According to the complaint, the victim described the abuse as unwanted sexual touching/rubbing that occurred at a residence in Knox Township, Jefferson County, as well as while camping at Kinzua Dam. The victim reported waking up in the night to George touching or rubbing her genitals, breasts, backside, or thighs without her consent.
George was then interviewed on September 29.
According to the complaint, he admitted to touching the victim’s breasts with his hands approximately five to six times and touching or rubbing her genitals with his hand approximately two to three times, as well as touching her backside underneath her clothing. He also told police he always thought the victim was asleep when it occurred.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on January 5, 2021, with Judge Bazylak presiding.
