Brookville Man Injured in Knox Township Crash

KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Police say a Brookville man was injured in a crash that occurred in Knox Township late last week.

According to police, around 3:41 p.m. on Friday, September 4, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Knox Dale Road just south of Center Hill Road in Knox Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 59-year-old Timmy J. Geer, of Brookville, was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado, traveling north on Knox Dale Road, when he crossed the center line and struck a 2020 Ford F150, operated by 22-year-old Tyler S. Elder, of Brookville, causing the Ford to overturn.

Geer, Elder, and Elder’s passenger, 53-year-old David L. Elder, of Brookville, were all wearing seatbelts.

Geer and Tyler Elder were not injured. David Elder suffered suspected minor injuries but was not transported.

Jefferson County EMS, Knox Township Volunteer Fire Company, and McPherson Towing assisted at the scene.
