Brookville Police Apprehend Fugitive Who Allegedly Stole Vehicle

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police were involved in the apprehension of a fugitive on Monday, June 30

According to Brookville Police, they were called by Reynoldsville Police to attempt to locate a 32-year-old male, of New Castle, who was allegedly involved in a stolen vehicle incident in New Castle.

The vehicle was located in Reynoldsville by police.

According to police, through subsequent investigation, the suspect got a ride to Brookville and was taken into custody at the Super 8 Motel.

Brookville police found the 32-year-old man was wanted for probation/parole violations as well as escape and related offenses in New Castle.

Police say he was incarcerated in the Jefferson County Jail pending return to Lawrence County.
