Brookville Police Calls: Terroristic Threats, Child Endangerment

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police responded to the following calls:

Terroristic Threats on Mabon Street

Police were dispatched around 1:09 a.m. on Wednesday, January 15, for a report of a domestic dispute incident on Mabon Street.

During the investigation, it was discovered that a known individual had struck a known victim and attempted to strangle the victim with a bathrobe belt during the dispute. The individual had also allegedly threatened to “slit the throat” of the victim.

According to police, charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment are being filed through District Court 54-3-03.

Child Endangerment on Mabon Street

Brookville Borough Police were dispatched around 2:42 p.m. on Monday, January 13, to check the welfare of a child on Mabon Street.

According to police, a three-year-old child was then found unattended and with access to drug paraphernalia and firearms, as well as other dangerous items.

Police say charges of endangering the welfare of children are being filed against a known individual through District Court 54-3-03.
