Brookville Tops Brockway, 2-1, in Nine Innings


BROCKWAY, Pa. (D9Sports) – Brady Caylor scored on an infield throwing error in the top of the ninth inning as Brookville outlasted Brockway, 2-1.

Raiders starting pitcher Aaron Park went 7 1/3 innings, allowing four hits while striking out 13 and walking one. He took a shutout into the bottom of the seventh, but the Rovers extended the game into extra innings when Angelo Inzana singled in Tino Inzana with one out.

Park left the game when he hit his pitch limit with one out in the eighth inning and Seth Dunkle finished it off to get the win, going 1 2/3 innings and walking two with one strikeout.

Tanner Labenne singled twice for the Raiders.

Tino Inzana and Connor Ford pitched for Brockway. Inzana went 6 1/3 innings, giving up four hits with four strikeouts and four walks. Ford threw the final 2 2/3 innings, giving up two hits and three walks with one strikeout.

Matthew Clark singled twice for the Rovers.
