CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Clarion-based State Police, around 3:26 p.m. on May 5, a one-car accident occurred on Rehobeth Road, 262 feet east of Rehobeth Church Road, in Clarion Township.
Police say 34-year-old Amanda J. Fyock, of Brookville, was traveling west on Rehobeth Road and a deer ran into the path of her 2005 Ford Freestyle.
Fyock swerved to miss the deer, traveled off the south berm of the roadway, and hit a utility pole, according to police.
A passenger in Fyock’s car – 36-year-old Jamie Painter, of East Brady – suffered minor injuries, police say.
Clarion Hospital Ambulance transported him to Clarion Hospital.
He was not using a seat belt, according to police.
Police say it is unknown if Fyock was injured.
