Brookville Woman Faces Drug Charges in Punxsutawney

Police sirenPUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville woman is facing drug charges in Punxsutawney.

According to online court documents, Ashley Rose Vega, 27, of Brookville, is facing several drug-related charges in Punxustawney.

Vega faces charges of felony manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, third-degree felony criminal use of a communication facility, and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered for an incident which took place June 4, court documents indicate.

Vega also faces separate charges for an incident taking place September 3, which include three counts of felony manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver and three counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered, say court documents.

Vega was arraigned at 3:20 p.m. September 3 before District Judge Robert Chambers. Unable to post bail of $200,000.00, she was lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.

Court documents state Vega is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at 9:00 a.m. October 27 with Chambers presiding.

Court documents list public defender John Mark Ingros as Vega’s attorney.
