Brookville Woman Injured Following Two Vehicle Crash in Rose Twp.

A moving ambulance on it''s way to a crash site.ROSE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police report a Brookville woman suffered moderate injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the 5:10 p.m. September 29 crash occurred at the intersection of Green Road and Old Route 322 in Rose Township when a 2013 Buick Regal operated by Kimberly L. Byerly, 59, of Brookville was traveling west along Old Route 322 and a 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe operated by Paul J. Pysh, 57, of Brookville was traveling south along Green Road.

As Byerly’s vehicle began to pass through the intersection, Pysh’s vehicle also entered the intersection without properly yielding the right of way, striking Byerly’s vehicle, according to police.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Byerly was wearing a seat belt and was transported to Penn Highlands Brookville by Jefferson County EMS for treatment of moderate injuries.

Pysh was wearing a seat belt and escaped injury. He was cited with a traffic violation, police say.
