JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A Brookville woman was injured in a one-car accident on Knox Dale Road, west of Rhodes Lane, in Knox Township, Jefferson County.
Punxsutawney-based State Police, say around 8:50 a.m. on January 23, Chantel E. Whaling, 20, of Brookville was traveling too fast in a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse on partially snow-covered roads.
She lost control while negotiating a left curve and started sliding, over corrected, and slid off the road into a culvert.
Whaling was not using a seat belt, and she suffered minor injuries.
Jefferson County EMS transported her to Brookville Hospital.
She was charged with a traffic violation.
