PINECREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say a two-vehicle crash occurred on March 15 around 12:10 p.m. on State Route 28, in Pinecreek Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, the crash occurred as Rebecca L. Dobson, 24, of Brookville, was traveling north on SR 28 in a 1999 Ford F150.
Dobson failed to see Dennis A. Wilson, 59, of Dongola, IL, who was accelerating from the Interstate 80 off-ramp onto SR-28.
Police say Dobson struck the trailing unit of Wilson’s 2011 Volvo in the left rear corner.
Dobson’s Ford F150 sustained severe damage to the left front corner.
Wilson’s Vovlo sustained minor damage as a result of the collision.
Dobson suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Brookville Hospital for treatment, according to police.
Wilson was uninjured in the crash.
According to police, Dobson was cited with a traffic violation.
