SHARON, Pa. (D9Sports) — The Brookville Raiders wrestling team saw seven of its wrestlers reach the semifinals of the Class AA Northwest Regional Tournament after Friday’s action.

At 113, Brookville’s Keelan Kunselman pinned Corry’s Logan Munsee. The Raider will wrestle Curwensville’s Blake Passarelli in the semifinals after the Golden Tide grappler scored a 7-4 decision over Fort LeBoeuf’s Isaac Crowell.

At 120 pounds, Brookville’s Gavin Park major decisioned Maplewood’s Kenyon Andrews, 14-2, to reach the semifinals against Saegertown’s Kenny Kiser, who beat Coudersport’s Trevor Olney, 9-2.

At 152, Brookville’s Caleb Hetrick tech falled Fort LeBoeuf’s Brent Burbules, 16-0, and will face Clarion’s Mike LeFay in the semifinals. LeFay pinned Greenville’s Mike Lineman.

At 160, Brookville’s Clayton Peace scored a 12-7 win over Greenville’s Brady Gentile.

At 182, only Brookville’s Noah Cieleski made the semifinals after he pinned Slippery Rock’s Elijah Hilliard. Cieleski will tackle Fort LeBoeuf’s Julian Gorring, who pinned Coudy’s Eli Ayers.

In the 195-pound class, Brookville’s Xavier Molnar reached the semis with a 7-5 win over Saegertown’s Tyler Brooks. Molnar will face Greenville’s Jake McMaster, who pinned Kane’s Ty Stahli.

At 220, Brookville’s Tyler Cook pinned Reynolds’s Derek Skeehan. Cook will face Lakeview’s Tyler Zebrovious, who beat Coudy’s Corey Thompson.

The Raiders also have some wrestlers who must qualify for states the hard way by coming back through the consolations.

At 126, Reynolds’s Gage Bayless pinned Brookville’s Kai Sorbin.

At 132 pounds, Habor Creek’s Sam Sallot beat Brookville’s Dontae Constable, 5-2.

At 170, Brookville’s Braden MacBeth lost 5-2 to Fort LeBoeuf’s Jared Kula.

At 285, Reynolds’s Cole Rickert beat Brookville’s Colby Whitehill, 7-3.

The Brockway Rovers also had one alive in the semifinals.

In the 106-pound weight class, Brockway’s Anthony Glasl scored a technical fall over North East’s Caiden Eastman to reach the semifinals against Fort LeBoeuf’s Steven McGarvie.

The Rovers also had two grapplers lose Friday and will have to battle back though the consolation rounds Saturday.

At 170, Brockway’s Garrett McClintick lost 7-0 to Sharon’s Nick McClimans and at 220, Justin Smith was pinned by Haborcreek’s Collin Askins.

Saturday’s wrestling schedule includes the Round 1 consolations at 9 a.m., followed by the semifinals and consolation quarterfinals.

After a short break, the consolation semifinals will take place.

The doors open at 2:30 p.m. with the third- and fourth-place consolation matches at 3:30 p.m.

The Parade of Champions will begin at 5:15 p.m. with the finals following immediately.

The top four wrestlers in each weight class advance to the PIAA Championships, which begin Thursday at Hershey’s Giant Center.
