BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville’s dual-meet wrestling win streak came to an end Saturday at 46 with a 37-16 loss to Reynolds in the last match of the day, but the Raiders were still 3-1 at the Brookville Ultimate Duals.
Earlier in the day Brookville defeated Bishop McCort, 64-14, Chestnut Ridge, 45-19, and Burrell, 50-15, to run the win streak to 46.

But against perennial power and rival Reynolds, the Raiders lost nine of 14 bouts with Reynolds picking up pins at 106 pounds (Beau Bayless over Parker Fleming in 1:05), 132 pounds (Hunter Michaels over Kai Sorbin in 3:38) and at 145 pounds (Chaise Hauck over Josh Keesecker in 46 seconds). Reynolds also had a major decision at 138 pounds (Cole Matthews over Dontae Constable, 14-6) to account for 22 of its 37 points in those four bouts alone.
Brookville recorded a major decision at 152 pounds (Caleb Hetrick over Hunter Thompson, 14-6) and also got decisions at 170 pounds from Tyler Park, 220 pounds by Tyler Cook, 113 pounds by Cabe Park and 126 pounds by Gavin Park.
BROOKVILLE 64, BISHOP MCCORT 14
Six pins and four forfeits helped Brookville the big win.
Cabe Park at 120 pounds, Sorbin at 132 pounds, Keesecker at 145 pounds, Tyler Park at 170 pounds, Cook at 220 pounds and Tanner LaBenne at heavyweight recorded the pins. The Raiders also got a major decision from Keelan Kunselman at 113 pounds. Forfeit victories came at 126 pounds, 152 pounds, 160 pounds and 182 pounds.
BROOKVILLE 45, CHESTNUT RIDGE 19
Against Chestnut Ridge, Brookville picked up pins at 126 pounds from Gavin Park, at 182 pounds from Noah Celeski and at 220 pounds by Cook and major decisions at 132 pounds by Sorbin, at 195 pounds by Xavier Molnar and at heavyweight from LeBenne in getting the 26-point win. The Raiders also scored decisions from Constable at 138 pounds, Caleb Hetrick at 152 pounds and Kunselman at 113 pounds and got a forfeit at 120 pounds.
BROOKVILLE 50, BURRELL 15
It was on the strength of four forfeits and a pair of pins that Brookville rolled past Burrell.
LeBenner at 220 pounds and Cook at heavyweight got the pins, while the Raiders picked up forfeit victories at 145 pounds, 152 pounds, 160 pounds and 195 pounds to score 36 of its 50 points.
Also scoring major decisions for the Raiders were Constable at 138 pounds and Tyler Park at 170 pounds with Kunselman at 120 pounds and Sorbin at 132 pounds getting decisions.
