Brookville’s Schindler to Play Basketball at Penn State-DuBois

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville senior Kurt Schindler has agreed to continue his basketball career at Penn State-DuBois next season.Schindler averaged a team-leading 13.6 points per game for the Raiders while helping them to the District 9 playoffs.  He scored 530 points in his Brookville career.

Penn State-DuBois went 15-10 this year losing in the PSUCA Quarterfinals. The Lions had six District 9 alums on their roster this year including Dane Aucker and Neil Fitzpatrick from DuBois Central Catholic, Cole Kriner from DuBois, Jacob Perrin from Brockway, Sam Roselli from Ridgway and Alex Graf from Keystone.

Schindler will conclude his high-school basketball career by playing in the Clarion County YMCA Sportsmanship I All-Star Game April 2 at Keystone High School.
