Camp Cadet Program Set for June 29 to July 15 at Clarion University

Camp CadetCLARION, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop C, Camp Cadet will be held at Clarion University, from Sunday, June 29 through Wednesday, July 15, 2016.

The camp is for boys and girls, 12 to 14 years of age, from Clarion, Clearfield, Elk, Forest, Jefferson, and McKean Counties.

Campers will stay at the university for the entire week.

The camp will consist of demonstrations and speakers including the FBI, Secret Service, Game Commission and several State Police-related programs like the PSP Helicopter and Special Emergency Response Team (SWAT). During the week, there will also be activities including swimming and a canoe day trip to Cook Forest.

Camp Cadet is for young people who want to learn about law enforcement and teamwork.

There will be availability for additional campers, and applications will continue to be accepted for a short period of time.
