Cook Forest State Park to Host Canoe Fishing Program

COOKSBURG, Pa. (EYT) – Cook Forest State Park will be conducting a 4-mile guided interpretive canoe fishing program on Thursday, July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., along the Clarion River beginning at the Park Office in Cooksburg, Pa.

Those attending are asked to bring fishing poles, bait, and proper river footwear.

Lunch will be provided.

Cost is $25 per boat and is payable at the starting point by check or money order made out to the ‘Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’.

Prior Kayaking 101, 201, and 301 participants receive a 50% discount.

Participants must pre-register prior to the trip at the Park Office, 113 River Rd, Cooksburg, PA 16217.

Only 8 canoes are available. Space is limited.
