Carma Sue Markle Songer, 42, of Oak Ridge died unexpectedly on Thursday, November 7, 2015.
Born December 22, 1972, she was the daughter of Allen Markle of East Brady and Cindy Neiswonger Hornberger of Mayport.
Ms. Songer was a 1992 graduate of Redbank High School. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Oak Ridge. She loved her grandson, Conner, and enjoyed spending time with him.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her foster parents, Phyllis and Bruce Evans of Oak Ridge; her daughter, Alexandra Wolfe and her significant other, Eric Traister, of Kittanning; her grandson, Conner Traister, of Kittanning; her brother, Rev. Barry Markle and his wife, Michelle, of Franklin; and her sister, Terri Douglas and her husband, Dean, of Karns City. She is also survived by her significant other, Dennis Simpson, of Sarver, PA.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 11am to 1pm at the Furlong Funeral Home, corner of Broad Street and First Avenue, Summerville, PA – www.furlongfuneralhome.com.
Services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home with the Rev. Jodie Smith officiating.
Interment will immediately follow the funeral service at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Redbank Twp., Armstrong County.
