Carol A. Bouch

Carol A. Bouch, 78, Punxsutawney, died Thursday, November 9, 2017, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born March 29, 1939, in DuBois, a daughter of the late Sarah Orra Etta (Simpson) and George Albert Smith.

On April 11, 1955, she married Wilber H. Bouch, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1988.

She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her family and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Terry Bouch, Sr., of Punxsutawney and Roy Bouch of Punxsutawney; three grandchildren, Shannon Painter and husband Ken, Dana Bouch-Groce and fiancé Nathanial Kimberling, and Terry Bouch, Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Mya and Devin Painter, Dominick Shields, and Jordan Groce; a sister Janet Wolfe of Punxsutawney; and a sister-in-law Leila Smith of Punxsutawney.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother George Smith.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at the funeral home with Reverend Steven Cassidy officiating.

Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery, DuBois.

Memorial contributions may be made, in memory of Carol, to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
