Carol Burdge, 67, of Brookville, PA, died Wednesday December 17, 2014 at her home in Brookville, PA.
Born December 18, 1946 in Detroit MI, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Catherine Hermann Gerrie.
Carol was a graduate of Casstech in Detroit, MI. Carol was married to David V. Burdge, he survives. Carol was a member of the Brookville First Church of God. She was dedicated to her family and her faith
Along with her husband, she is survived by a three sons; David V. (Launie) Burdge Jr. of Washington, Michael W. (Amy) Burdge of Brookville, Darol G. (Jessica) Burdge of San Antonio, TX.; four daughters, Cheri B. (Mark) Spiers of Ridgway, PA., Mariya D. Chesnutt of Brookville, Patricia N. Burdge of Brookville, Carolan C. (Justin) Bailey of Brookville; a brother Gordon Gerrie of Detroit MI.; and fourteen grandchildren, Hannah, Elizabeth, Ryan, Stewart, Emily, Zach, Hayden, Kiersten, Cameron, Jordan, Julia, Gabe, Ayden and Natalie.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held at the First Church of God in Brookville, on Sunday December 21, 2014 at 2 pm with Pastor Henry Scoff officiating.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Furlong Funeral Home, Gregory K. Furlong FD, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.
