Carol Diana Pearce, 67 formerly of Maplevale Rd. Brookville, died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in Johnstown, Pa.
Born September 14, 1947 in Punxsutawney, Pa., she was the daughter of Aaron States and Mary Bear States.
Carol married Edward Pearce on April 20, 1968 in Rossiter, Pa. (he survives).
She was a homemaker and worked with the Brookville Food Pantry for 33 years.
She always like being around her grandchildren and enjoyed camping.
She is survived by two Sons, David Pearce (Jennifer Wolf) of Mesa, AZ, Shawn Pearce (Susan McKinley) of South Solon, Oh. and a daughter, Susan Rowe (Bill) of Clarington, Oh., three brothers, Ralph States (Nancy) of Punxsutawney, Pa., Delbert States of Reynoldsville, Pa., Aaron States Jr. of Cloe, Pa. and a sister, Rita McElhattan (Robert) of Roseville, Pa.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ron States, and a son, Brian Pearce.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 13 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the McKinney Funeral Home.
Services will be held Saturday, February 14 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Kevin Bockus officiating.
Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery, Glenn Campbell, Indiana Co., Pa.
