A “ceilidh,” pronounced “kay-lee,” a term used commonly among the Scots and the Irish, is an evening of entertainment.

“Jefferson County was once heavily populated with the Scots-Irish, yet “ceilidh” is not a word that occurs in our history books,” said Kenneth Burkett, Executive Director of Jefferson County History Center.

“Nevertheless, those who attend are in for a treat of St. Patrick’s Day music and refreshments.”

Titchner-Scott will be present with instruments and song for this “Brookville Ceilidh.”

Tickets will be available for $12.00 at the door. The event benefits the Jefferson County History Center.

Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is located at 62 Pickering Street in Brookville, Pa.
