Charges Against Man Accused of Taking Payment for Project, Then Failing to Complete Work Withdrawn

JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Criminal charges against an area man who was accused of accepting over $5,000.00 for a construction project, then not completing the work were withdrawn on Thursday.

According to court documents, a third-degree felony count of Theft by Deception-False Impression filed against 51-year-old Jeffrey Dean Larson, of Brockport, was withdrawn on Thursday, July 9.

The case stemmed from a known victim who had reported that he hired Jeffrey Dean Larson to build a canopy-style roof over his camper in Sykesville, Jefferson County. The charge related to the unfinished project.
