Court documents indicate the following charges against 26-year-old Tyler Anthony Siple were waived for court during a preliminary hearing on Thursday, February 24:
– Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession With Intent to Manufacture or Deliver, Felony
– Criminal Use Of Communication Facility, Felony 3
– Possession of Controlled Substance, Misdemeanor
Siple remains free on $5,000.00 unsecured bail.
The charges stem from a Jefferson County Drug Task Force bust that occurred in June of last year.

According to a criminal complaint, on June 10, 2020, an agent of the Jefferson County Drug Task Force was in contact with a confidential informant (C.I.) who indicated he/she could assist in a controlled purchase of crystal methamphetamine from Tyler Siple.
According to the complaint, the C.I. contacted Siple and arranged a meeting, then proceeded, under police surveillance, to a location in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. Police then observed as Siple and the C.I. made an exchange of $245.00 in official pre-recorded funds for a ziplock baggie that was later determined to contain 3.3 grams of methamphetamine.
Court documents indicate Siple has a lengthy criminal history in the region dating back to 2013 with convictions ranging from theft and drug charges to burglary and forgery.
