Charles “Bud” Harris

Charles “Bud” Harris, 83 of Reynoldsville, died July 17, 2015, at his home.

He was born July 25, 1931, in Brookville to the late Thomas and Mary Katherine Broscious Harris. He married Margaret (Peg) Harris, who survives and resides in Reynoldsville.

Bud was a truck driver for M&G Convoy of Delaware.

He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Korean War.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Reynoldsville, a life member of the Reynoldsville Fire Department, the Reynoldsville Eagles and the American Legion in Reynoldsville.

He is also survived by two daughters, Kathy Harris and April Henninger; stepchildren: Albert (Sparky) Lyle, Janice and Randy Swartz, Ron and Marcia Taylor; one sister, Miriam Miller; and nine grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Jean; and four sisters: Martha Ann Harris, Nellie Crawford, Verna Mae Harris and Ruth Deible.

Friends will be received from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2015, at the Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home in Reynoldsville.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. July 21, at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Carr officiating.

Burial will be in Lakelawn Memorial Park, Reynoldsville.

Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Reynoldsville.
