Charlotte LaRue Barnett, 87, of Sphere Street, Brookville, died Monday, March 2, 2015 at Penn Highlands Brookville.
She was born on July 8, 1927 in Summerville, the daughter of the late Ralph Kiehl and Ida Merle Mauk Kiehl.
She married Paul E. Barnett who preceded her in death on June 29, 1993.
Charlotte was a homemaker and worked for the Brookville Glove Factory.
She was a member of the Stanton United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed singing with her Brothers and Sisters.
She especially enjoyed her children and grand children.
Surviving is a son, Gary L. Barnett (Janet) of Brookville; Grandchildren Shawn Barnett (Tara), Bobbie Jo Budd (Richard), Ryan Barnett (Jennifer), and Nichole Barnett; Great-Grandchildren Chloe, Carly, Tyler, Castle, Kingston, Madison, and MacKenzie; Sister Olive Harp of Brookville and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Robert Barnett, sisters Hazel Lewis and Florence Kerner, and brothers Grant Kiehl and Ray Kiehl.
Visitation at the McKinney Funeral Home, Main Street, Brookville will be Thursday, Marc at the Stanton United Methodist Church with The Rev. Roger Howard officiating.
Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery at Windy Hill, Rose Township, Jefferson County.
Memorials may be made to the Stanton United Methodist Church, 628 Stanton Rd. Brookville, Pa., or to the Donor’s Choice.
