Charlotte Rose (Granville) Woods, age 79, of Sigel PA, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, as a resident of the McKinley Health Center in Brookville, PA.
Charlotte was born on February 16, 1937, to the late Abraham Johnson and Margaret Sarah (Fetters) Granville, in Madera, PA.
On March 21, 1974, she married Roy T. Woods in Tarentum, PA; Roy preceded her in passing.
She attended the Highlands High School in Natrona Heights, PA, and she spent most of her life working in factories and restaurants.
Charlotte is survived by 1 daughter; Sunny (James) Gould of Sigel, PA; 1 son; Chris (Debbie) Redmond of Springdale, PA; 1 sister; Shirley (James) Gillen; 6 grand children; David, Erin, Shannon, Jimmy, Amy, and Rachel; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Charlotte is preceded in death by 1 daughter; Cindy Logut; 2 brothers; Bill and Charles; and 3 sisters; Florence, Janet, and Charlotte’s twin sister, Charlene.
In keeping with Charlotte’s wishes, there will be no public services.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, ltd, of Brookville, PA.
