Chester Irvin Marshall

Chester Irvin Marshall, 80, Reynoldsville, suffering ended to be with God on August 19, 2015 at his beloved farm surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on March 08, 1935 in Luthersburg, a son of the late Roy Sylvester and Eva Blanche (Hayes) Marshall.

On May 29, 1954 he married the former Donna Jean Peace. Together they celebrated sixty one years of marriage.

“Chet” worked as a cement truck driver, and a mechanic, but his heart was at home on his farm.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by three children, Debra Blose and husband Ron of Luthersburg, Becky Marshall of Luthersburg, and Jim Marshall of Clearwater, FL; three grandchildren, Dawn Wykoff, David and Devin Wachob; and his “special” great granddaughter, Audri “Peanut” Wykoff; three sisters, Anna Dush and husband Joe of Alabama, Mary Ruth Blose and husband Leon of DuBois, Dorothy Lawson and husband Bill of Luthersburg.

Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Howard Marshall.

Mr. Marshall chose to have a private service surrounded by his family, his garage and home that he loved so much.
