BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A bus trip to Shaker Woods to see an “old-fashioned Christmas in the woods” is scheduled for Saturday, October 10.
The bus trip will depart from Evangelical United Methodist Church in Brookville at 8:00 a.m. on October 10 for a planned arrival at Shaker Woods at 10:00 a.m. and a 4:00 p.m. departure for the return trip home.
The woods will be transformed into a holiday wonderland beautifully decorated in an old-fashioned holiday theme.
Visit over 200 crafters and artisans demonstrating their unique skills and handcrafting those precious gifts right before your eyes.
Craftspeople include woodworkers, floral designers, blacksmiths, potters, tole painters, basket weavers, and others.
There will be plenty of delicious foods including some holiday favorites cooked in the old-fashioned way.
Live entertainment will help make it an event for the entire family. Come and have an old-fashioned good time.
The cost of the trip is $50.00 per person, with proceeds benefiting the Jefferson County History Center.
