Clair W. Leasure, Sr.

Clair W. Leasure, Sr., age 80, of Hillsville Road, Edinburg, passed away the afternoon of September 2, 2015 at Jameson Hospital.

Born September 12, 1934 in Rochester Mills, Pa., he was a son of Earl and Arveda Walker Leasure.

A graduate of Marion Center High School, Clair was employed as a press operator with Easco Company in Girard, Ohio for 35 years.

Among his many interests, Clair enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, puzzles and reading.

He is survived by his fiancee, Judy K. Leasure; three daughters, Tanya Lyons of North Carolina, Terry Lippman of Bessemer, and Tammy Dess of New Bedford; two sons, Clair W. Leasure, Jr., of Enon Valley and Kevin B. Leasure of Jersey Shore, Pa.; two brothers, Vernon Leasure of Rochester Mills, Pa. and Leonard Leasure of Hillsville; three sisters, Bernice MacElroy of Franklinville, NY, Frances Stauffer of Greenbelt, MD, and Freda Martino of Walston, PA; 15 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Leasure; one brother, Bill Leasure; two sisters, Hazel Bell and Wyonetta McGinnis; and one grandson, Mason Dess.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. John Yergan officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
