Clara V. “Viv” Lewis Cornman

Clara V. “Viv” Lewis Cornman, age 84, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Saint Vincent Hospital. She was born in Michigan Heights, MI on October 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Phillip and Nettie C. Manners Lewis.

Viv was a loving and devoted homemaker who loved spending time caring for her family. She had previously been employed by the former Marx Toy Co. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and going to yard sales.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Albert H. “Bert” Cornman and her twelve brothers and sisters. Survivors include her four children, Valerie Gabbard (David) of Alabama, Patricia Aderman (Robert) of Erie, Harold Cornman (Michelle) of Erie and Phillip Cornman (Carol) of Florida; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
