Brookville Area High School Blue Raider Marching Band Places in Clarion Hospital Tournament of Leaves Parade

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Brookville Area High School Blue Raider Marching Band took second place in the AAA Band class at the Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves” Parade that was held on Saturday, October 6.

The Clarion Area Chamber of Business & Industry has announced the winners from the Clarion Hospital “Tournament of Leaves” Parade.

The winners include:

Class A Bands:

• 1st Place – Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School Marching Band
• 2nd Place – Clarion-Limestone High School Marching Band
• 3rd Place – Redbank Valley High School Marching Band

Class AAA Bands:

• 1st Place – Oil City High School Oiler Marching Band
• 2nd Place – Brookville Area High School Blue Raider Marching Band
• 3rd Place – Keystone High School Marching Band
• 4th Place – Slippery Rock High School Marching Band

Best Drum Major Class A:
Allegheny-Clarion Valley High School Marching Band

Best Drum Major Class AAA:
Oil City High School Oiler Marching Band

Best Band Front Class A:
Clarion-Limestone Marching Band

Best Band Front Class AAA:
Slippery Rock High School “Rocket” Marching Band

This year’s sponsors for the Marching Units were Clarion Psychiatric Center, Colony Homes, Commodore Homes and Park Inn by Radisson.

Best Drill Team:

• 1st Place – Stars Drill Team
• 2nd Place – Clarion University Dance Team
• 3rd Place – KUDETS

Drill Teams were sponsored this year by Commodore Homes

Best Community Float:

• 1st Place – Hope & Sophia Bradybaugh and Friends
• 2nd Place – Jefferson-Clarion Head Start
• 3rd Place – Clarion Forest VNA
• 4th Place – Tie – Hearts for Uganda and Epicenter Church

The Community Floats were sponsored this year by the Clarion Psychiatric Center.

Best University Float:

• 1st Place – Phi Sigma, Tri Sigma and Sigma Chi
• 2nd Place – Clarion University Activities Board
• 3rd Place – Delta Phi Epsilon, Sigma Phi Epsilon and Kappa Delta Rho

The University Floats were sponsored this year by Structural Modulars, Inc.

Best of Parade, which is a parade marshals’ choice and decided prior to the beginning of the parade before the float judges score them, went to Jefferson-Clarion Head Start.
