Clarion Man Escapes Injury in Brookville Area Crash

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police say around 12:30 p.m. on June 2, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Davis Road, approximately 1/2 mile west of State Route 28, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 25-year-old Tyler A. Hogue, of Clarion, was traveling east on Davis Road, and as he entered a left curve in the roadway, he was traveling too fast and lost control of his 1998 Ford Ranger on the loose gravel.

His vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway and struck the guide wire and came to rest on the south shoulder of the roadway facing east, police say.

Hogue was using a seat belt and was not injured.

He will be charged with a traffic violation.

The citation will be filed at the office of 54-3-03.
