Clarion U. Baseball to Hold Fall ID Camp for High School Players Sept. 30


CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Clarion University baseball is holding an “ID” Camp for high school baseball players Sept. 30 at the Memorial Stadium Field.

The cost of the camp, which is open to any high school player who is a freshman through senior in the 2017-18 school year, is $100 for the instructional session and show case game for either a position player of pitcher or $150 for both. To just participate in the showcase game is $50. The cost including a camp t-shirt.

“This camp is designed to provide a college-like baseball experience for high-school-aged players,” Clarion University second-year baseball coach Anthony Williams said. “The Clarion University baseball staff will lead instruction with various area college coaches in attendance.”

The schedule for the day will be as follows:

8:30 a.m. Registration
9 a.m.-12 p.m. Instruction & Skills Development
12 p.m.-12:45 p.m. Lunch (provided)
1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. Showcase Game
