Clarion U. Men’s Golf Finishes 13th at Oglebay Intercollegiate


OGLEBAY, W. Va. – Finishing day two of the Oglebay Intercollegiate Invitational Monday afternoon, the Clarion University men’s golf team took 13th overall with a final team score of 629 (+61).

The Blue and Gold will tee off next at the Edwin Cottrell Invitational in West Chester, Pa. on April 8th.

Mitch Faulkner continued his excellent pace from the first day of play to finish tied for 21st overall in the individual standings with a two-round score of 150 (+8). Nathan Sandberg finished tied with Faulkner in 21st after finishing day two with a score of 73.

FULL RESULTS

Willie Hoover ended day two shaving 9 strokes off of his first round score, shooting a 78 on day two for a two day total of 165. Nick Giambrone finished just behind Hoover, carding a two day total of 168, while Logan Reed finished the two-day invitational with a final tally of 170.
