CLARION, Pa. – Clarion University first-basemen Tyler Falk was named PSAC West Baseball Athlete of the Week by the PSAC Conference Monday afternoon.

The senior and Fombell, Pa. native enjoyed an incredibly productive week at the plate for CU on their annual spring training trip to Wilson, North Carolina, smashing nine hits in 17 plate appearances (.529) over six games, including three doubles. Falk also added three RBI’s and three runs to help lead the Eagles to wins over Kutztown and Fairmont State.
To add to his lofty offensive totals, Falk finished the weekend with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage at first base.
