CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The Clarion University women’s basketball team will be hosting a Pink Out Cancer Awareness Game at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 18, when Edinboro visits Tippin Gym for a PSAC West contest.
The team is currently selling pink t-shirts to raise money for The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital.
T-Shirts cost $15 and can be purchased at the Feb. 18 game or by contacting the women’s basketball office at 814-393-2200 or by e-mailing head coach Jana Ashley at jashley@clarion.edu.
The team will also collect donations at the game Feb. 18.
Last year, the Clarion University athletics department donated nearly $4,500 to The Cancer Center at Clarion Hospital, and the department has raised over $15,000 in the past four years alone for The Cancer Center.
